Katrinci's Commission TOS

I. General Disclaimers

• I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time. (commissioners will receive a refund if their commission is cancelled)

II. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

• I will not begin work on any commission request until I am paid in full.• The client needs to be clear and concise when filling out the commission form and provide both written and visual references. (moodboards are welcome!)• The client must remain respectful during the commission process.• If the client fails to provide important information and clear descriptions/references they assume full responsibility when requesting revisions. (Read the Revisions section for further information)• The client needs to specify if they wish to receive WIPs after the sketch phase of the commission.

II. COMMISSION PROCESS

• Deadlines must be agreed upon prior to the start of the commission.• During the sketch phase, I will accept one complete revision. After getting the commissioner's approval on the sketch, only minor revisions will be accepted during the later art stages.• I will do my best to complete your commission within a timely manner, but please be understanding if your commission ends up being delayed (you will be notified beforehand).

III. REVISIONS

• One major revision and multiple minor revisions are allowed in the sketch phase and are covered within the commission price.• Further major revisions as well as excessive minor revisions (if they begin to halt the commission process) come with additional fees.• Revisions due to my own negligence are free.• It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.

IV. COPYRIGHT & USAGE POLICY

• I (the artist) retain the rights over any commissioned works and reserve the right to use the commissioned work in my portfolio as well post it on my social media and website if I wish.• The final product is strictly for your personal use only, unless you purchase commercial rights. (pricing is discussed privately)• While appreciated, credit is not necessary (unless specified). However, the client must not attempt to deceive others on who illustrated the commissioned work.• In instances where you have purchased the commercial rights to a commissioned work, credit is required.

You may use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways:• Print the work for personal use.• Post the artwork on social media.• Crop and/or resize the image for use as an avatar, header, video thumbnail, etc.You may NOT use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways:• Claim the artwork was created by you.• Remove my watermark/signature (if included).• Use the commissioned piece in any technology related to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or AI.• Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.

V. REFUNDS

• Once the first WIP is sent, the client cannot ask for a refund.• I reserve the right to cancel and refund any commission for any reason.

VI. WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Final Sketch
Final Artwork (PNG with minimum 300 DPI, unless a different resolution/file type is requested)
• For an additional $10 USD, you can also purchase the PSD or CSP file of your commission.

COMMISSION TYPES


❥ Digital B&W (or Monochromatic) Illustration

Base Price:
• Bust-up: 20 EUR
• Half-body: 30 EUR
• Full-body: 60 EUR
Additional fees:
• Extra Character: +75% price

How to calculate:
First Character (Base Price) + Second Character (75% × Base Price) = Final Price


❥ Digital Painterly Illustration

Base Price:
• Bust-up: 40 EUR
• Half-body: 80 EUR
• Full-body: 120 EUR
Additional fees:
• Complex Design or Prop: +5 ~ 20 EUR
• Background: price depends on complexity ( +10 ~ 150 EUR)
• Extra Character: +75% price (up to 4 characters)

How to calculate:
First Character (Base Price) + Second Character (75% × Base Price) = Final Price

Important to note:

If you are familiar with my work, you might know I often play around with my art & draw in several different styles. When making a commission request, make sure you attach a reference of a preexisting illustration of mine which best represents the artstyle you want for your commission!
